Welcome to our state-of-the-art centre.

CHES provides accelerated programs online and on-site for senior students from government secondary schools through our state-of-the-art facility.

We offer specialised programs on-site and online through a new $27.5 million facility.

Our multi-storey centre includes:

  • contemporary classrooms
  • an auditorium
  • collaboration spaces
  • technology-rich learning spaces
  • tertiary-standard science labs and design spaces
  • a rooftop terrace with outdoor learning space.

These learning spaces reflect the CHES flexible and student-centred approach to teaching and learning.

Our innovative virtual learning environment enables our students to study at CHES from anywhere in Victoria. Students participate in CHES programs in person or online, and many students engage in a hybrid approach of online and on-site learning.

Located centrally in South Yarra, and under ten minutes away on public transport from the CBD, CHES is easily accessible.

CHES is constructed on land purchased from the Melbourne High School Foundation.

CHES is a hub for state-wide programs for high-achieving senior students in government schools.
